Plymouth Triathlon and Junior Aquathlon 2010: 11th of July!

Once again, the Plymouth Triathlon Club organises the Senior triathlon standard distance and the Junior Aquathlon. The chosen date for this year event is the 11th of July. The triathlon will start at 8am and the aquathlon will be divided in different starts depending the age group the athletes are included in.

The venue will be at Mount Batten in Plymouth and like the last two years all the participants will wear a timing chip around their ankle to allow them know the results as soon as they finish and available online soon after the event has finished.

There will be trophies for all the categories and prizes that we will reveal soon, so don't miss the oportunity to be part of it, there are only 250 places available! get your entry today to avoid disappointment! The event is part of the South West Series 2010 along with other 12 triathlons around the region and this year for first time there will be a club South West Series trophy. Tell your club mates and book the 4 events that will make your team the number one in the South West!

Plymouth Triathlon Club membership 2009-10

The membership of the Plymouth Triathlon Club 2009 officially ended on the 31st of August.

The 1st of September was chosen as renewal date as this coincides with Mount Batten Centre membership renewal. The joining fee should remain the same subject to increases from the MBC.

It may be worth considering UKA membership at the same time. For a small fee you will have all these benefits:

  • Avoid £2+ un-attached levy at UKA affiliated races
  • Avoid missing out on important races as some event don't allow runners who aren't registered with an affiliated club to take part. This includes championship events such as the National Road Relays and National Cross Country Champs.

You may also want to consider joining Triathlon England. The insurance is worth the joining fee alone!
